When we decided to replace our aging sedan, we did a number of internet searches for vehicles that fit our wants - we found quite a few nice-looking options at the Deal Time dealership in Bakersfield. The staff responded very quickly to our multiple email inquiries, and we set a time to visit and look at the vehicles we liked from their ads.
From the time we arrived, the salespeople were exceptional - they showed us all 4 of the vehicles we were interested in, took us on test drives, and discussed the options with us, all without any “pressure” to buy something. In all, I think we dealt with 3 different sales people (Junior, Aldo, Alfonso if memory serves me) while we were checking out the different vehicles - one thing that amazed us was that each new salesperson we talked to knew what we were looking at, and where we were in the process (what we liked and what we didn’t). It was great to have such a seamless transition between multiple different people!
When we decided on a specific SUV, the negotiation was effortless - the vehicle was priced right where Kelly Blue Book indicated, and we feel they gave us a more than fair offer on our trade-in.
Due to some time constraints, we had to leave the dealership before we could complete the transaction - but, that didn’t matter! When we came back the next day, they had all the paperwork and our new SUV waiting for us, washed, cleaned, shiny, and ready to go.
Of course, we had our own mechanic go over the SUV. Although it’s an older / classic model he told us it was in great shape, and didn’t identify any problems with it at all.
In all, we’re thrilled with the new car, and we’ve never had a more positive car buying experience - we’d highly recommend Deal Time to anyone looking for a new vehicle.
